Together– “yu” and “mi” 😝– we can build strong, secure financial futures. In addition, this is also travel blog, as I’ve gotten enough requests from friends for tips on how I travel so cheaply.
What’s with the name?
The last sentence explains it, but “yumi” is a play on words. How we’re taking on this journey together, “yu” and “mi”. But also, in Mandarin, “yumi” is the word for corn. Corn is a staple for much of the world because of its high yield and resiliency. Therefore, when I see our little mascot, I think of growth, and the ability to weather any storm. Besides, money talk has been so boring. Expect more food references.

Reminder
Being money-savvy doesn’t deny you from living life to the fullest. It’s all about a balance and the journey itself is half the fun. Remember to look back every once in a while, don’t take things for granted, and give back when you can. When you do life with a mission, a purpose, and gratitude, you are already wealthy.
